About Puzzle up ChisiNOW
We are 18 people from Moldova, Germany and France. Some of us are students, some volunteers. Our common interest in photography was the starting point for this project.
Since November 2010 we have taken part in six different photography workshops: architecture, landscape, experimental, portrait, photo journalism and studio. In choosing these themes, we had to get out of our personal “photography comfort zones”. This was a continuous process of sharing as we each have different backgrounds, ideas and pieces of advice. At the end of each workshop, we analyzed the pictures we had taken. We were amazed to discover how people can capture the same subject differently.
In February 2011, we met again for a workshop to plan this exhibition. We had the aim of finishing our work by presenting photography to the people in a non- commercial way and changing their perception of Chisinau. Together, over three days of intense team work, we developed a method of puzzling up the exhibition to find a thematic red line.

Noi suntem 18 persoane din Moldova, Germania şi Franţa. Unii dintre noi sunt studenţi, alţii- voluntari. Punctul de pornire al acestui proiect a fost interesul nostru comun pentru fotografie.
Începând cu Noiembrie 2010 am participat la şase workshop-uri de fotografie diferite : arhitectură, peisaj, fotografie experimentală, portret, fotojurnalism şi fotografie de studiou. Alegând aceste teme, fiecare dintre noi a fost obligat să iasă din “zona sa de confort” în materie de fotografie. Acesta a fost un proces continuu de interacţiune şi schimb de idei, dat fiind faptul că venim din medii diferite, avem idei şi sugestii proprii. La sfârşitul fiecărui workshop am analizat fotografiile pe care le-am făcut, iar partea uimitoare a acestor discuţii a fost observarea aceluiaşi subiect din mai multe perspective.
În Februarie 2011 ne-am întâlnit din nou la un workshop la care am planificat expoziţia. Scopul a fost de a ne incheia lucrul prin prezentarea fotografiei intr-un mod non-comercial, pentru a o aduce mai aproape de oameni şi a schimba felul în care acestia percep Chisinăul.Together we discovered the method of puzzling up the exibition to find a red line within intense team work of three days

Начиная с ноября 2010 мы приняли учаcтие в шести разных мастерских по фотографии: архитектура, ландшафт, экспериментальная, портрет, фото-журнализм и студийная фотография. Выбрав эти темы, каждый из нас должен был выйти из собственной «зоны комфорта в фотографии». Это был непрерывный процесс обмена, так как у всех разная подготовка, идеи и советы. В конце каждой мастерской мы анализировали все сделанные фотографии. Самая потрясающая часть этого обмена состояла в том как люди фотографировали по-разному одну и ту же тему.
В феврале 2011 мы снова встретились на мастерской чтоб спланировать эту выставку. Нашей целью стало закончить работу и представить людям фотографии в некоммерческом виде, изменив этим их восприятие Кишинёва. Вместе, в течении трёх интенсивных дней командной работы, мы раскрыли способ как «перемешать» выставку при этом не теряя красной идейной нити выставки.
